Daily Shred is a free email newsletter for guitarists. This page explains what we collect when you visit dailyshred.co or subscribe, and what we do with it.
Your email address
When you subscribe, we collect your email address so we can send you the newsletter. Our email platform, beehiiv, stores it and sends our emails. beehiiv also records whether you open an email and which links you click, which helps us figure out what you actually want to read. We never sell or rent your email address. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and one click takes you off the list.
Website analytics
We use Google Analytics to see how many people visit this site, how they found it, and whether they subscribe. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information like your browser, device, approximate location, and the pages you view. It does not tell us who you are. You can read how Google uses this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and you can opt out with Google's browser add-on.
Affiliate links
Some links in our emails are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, the store may use cookies to credit us with the sale. That's how we keep the newsletter free.
Questions or deletion requests
Email hello@dailyshred.co and we'll answer, or delete your information if you ask us to.
